Town of Tonawanda Aquettes Synchronized Swimming Team
Synchronized swimming has been a part of the Town of Tonawanda since 1961 when it was first founded by Dorothy Sowers, legendary coach of national and international renown.  Since that time, The Town of Tonawanda Aquettes Synchronized Swimming Team has been a premiere organization participating at various locations within the Town of Tonawanda. Ever since partnering with the Aquatic & Fitness Center, the Aquettes have developed girls, who are just learning to swim, into talented synchronized swimmers who exhibit the strength, endurance, flexibility and character of champions.  They have historically been a major force on the local and national scene as success has been a major characteristic of their program

If you or a member of your family is interested in becoming part of the Aquettes, please call Karen Alvarez at (716) 912-0427 or Patti Melber at (716) 316-5745, or visit their website.

Town of Tonawanda Titans Swimming Club
The Town of Tonawanda Titan’s Swim Club, as they have been known since 1988, has grown into one of the powerhouse swimming teams in, not only the Western New York area, but also the east coast.  Training year round at the Aquatic & Fitness Center since it’s opening has provided the opportunity for the team's tremendous growth and ability to develop many boys and girls into elite swimmers.

If you are interested in the Titans, please call Tim Bennett at (716) 863-6933 or visit their website.
