JEFFERSON YOUTH CENTER MEMBERSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR

The Town of Tonawanda Youth, Parks & Recreation department has opened registration for the Jefferson Youth Center for the 2022-23 school year. Programming takes place at the former Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, located at 250 Athens Blvd, for children ages 4-12.

“The Jefferson Youth Center is a safe place for children to come and socialize, play, get homework done, and take advantage of some great activities led by our staff,” said Carl Szarek, Councilman and Chair of the Youth, Parks & Recreation Committee.

Jefferson features a gymnasium, auditorium, game room, lounge, computer lab, playground, outdoor space, and several classrooms used for programming such as arts and crafts, enrichment activities like STEM projects, and more.

Jefferson Kids Club is open 2:45-6:00pm on school days with daily and monthly membership options. The Ken-Ton School District provides bussing to eligible students; parents/guardians must make arrangements with the Transportation Department in advance. YPR also offers a Vacation Club from 8:00am to 6:00pm on full days that school is closed, such as Veterans Day, Superintendent Conference Days, and February break. Vacation Club memberships are $42 per day or $32 per day for Kids Club members.
