Responsibilities
The comptroller’s office has the responsibility for fiscal matters of the town, including but not limited to the following:
- Budget preparation and reporting
- Compliance audits
- Debt administration
- Financial reporting
- Fixed assets records
- Internal controls
- Investments
- Payroll
- Vendor payments
- Water / sewer bill preparation
The comptroller's office is also responsible for providing financial and budgetary services and preparing water and sewer bills for the town.
