***Brighton & Lincoln Arena COVID-19 Safety Policies and Procedures

 ***Day to Day Expectations from Teams/Organizations/Rentals:

  • If you displaying any flu symptoms or signs of respiratory illness, please stay home.
  • All Participants, Coaches & Spectators entering the Brighton or Lincoln Arena must wear Face Coverings inside the building at ALL Times! This includes the Lobby, Bathrooms, Locker Room Area and Viewing area around the outside of the ice. There are no exceptions to this. Anyone that Fails to comply will be asked to leave the building.
  • Face Coverings will be optional on the ice but must be worn as soon as possible by participants upon exiting the ice surface. Face Coverings for all coaches must be worn on the ice.
  • Participants will enter and exit through assigned doors from the lobby to the ice area. The doors will clearly be marked to Enter and Exit appropriately.   Staff will be monitoring both locations & they will be clearly marked. Any assistance by coaches/staff will be greatly appreciated to alleviate confusion and congestion at the doors. Groups should remain in their designated locker room with face coverings on until the ice is ready and a coach or designated player informs the group the ice is ready.
  • Participants will be allowed no more than 1 adult (or spectator.) Any additional parents or spectators that show up will be asked to leave. The buildings are limited to a certain capacity and your team/groups cooperation is greatly appreciated! We recommend if you do not need an adult/spectator to be present, that they wait outside. Higher at-risk patrons should stay home.
  • All Participants, coaches & spectators will maintain enforceable and proper physical and social distancing at all times.
  • Teams/Organizations/Rentals should continue to comply with all USA Hockey and NYSAHA Safety Standards & Policies.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available & should be used frequently when arriving, during time spent at the facility & before leaving.
  • Any personal belongings that participants bring should be staggered 6 feet apart from any others in the lobby area or in the arena viewing area.
  • It is encouraged for hockey participants to come dressed in their hockey gear as much as possible. Participants are encouraged to leave the facility approximately 15 minutes after they are off the ice so that staff may clean and sanitize the Locker Room areas before the next rental arrives.
  • No Spitting in the Arena Facility. No Sharing water bottles.
  • Staff will frequently sanitize the Locker rooms, Bathrooms, Doors, benches, equipment and other high touch areas by spraying or wiping them down with hospital grade disinfectant.
  • If a child or participant from your team or program is displaying any symptoms of COVID-19, you think they may have been exposed, or tests positive to Covid-19 please notify the Town of Tonawanda Youth, Parks & Recreation Department immediately at 831-1001.
  • Teams/Organizations/Groups must provide a roster of participants using the ice.
  • Teams/Organizations/Groups must provide the Town of Tonawanda Youth, Parks & Recreation Department with their own Safety Guidelines and Procedures that they will be following and adhering to as well as the Guidelines the Town of Tonawanda Youth, Parks & Recreation Department will be enforcing. Together we can do our part to help ensure the Arenas stay open for all to use.
  • The health & safety of all participants & staff is of the upmost importance at all times.

Ice Rental Information 
The ice rental arena rate for October 2020 - March 2021 is $175 per hour (50 minutes on ice plus 10 minute resurface time). Discounted rates of $160 per hour (50 minutes on ice and 10 minutes resurface time) are available Monday - Friday before 3:00 pm or after 11:00 pm 7 days a week. Arena Passes and Access Cards
A Resident Access Card is available to all residents of the Town of Tonawanda or Village of Kenmore. These cards allow individuals the opportunity to purchase daily admission tickets at a reduced rate. Resident access cards and passes may be purchased at either arena. Proof of residency is required. Arena season passes are honored at all posted public skating sessions. Replacement passes cost $5. All family pass members must live at the same address.
