The Town of Tonawanda Youth, Parks & Recreation Department in conjunction with American Legion Post #205, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2472 and the Village of Kenmore are gearing up for the Annual Memorial Day Parade! This is one of the finest and largest parades in all of New York State. Truly a traditional event that everyone will enjoy!
Date: Monday, May 27
Time: 11am
Location: The parade will form on Delaware Avenue between Sheridan Drive and Chatsworth Avenue. It will then move south on Delaware to Lincoln Boulevard, turning right onto Lincoln, proceeding to Elmwood Avenue and disbanding at Mang Field.

The day will start out with services at the following cemeteries:

8:00am Failing Cemetery-Delaware Rd & Willowbreeze

8:15am Veteran’s Monument @ Colvin & Brighton

8:30am Vietnam Memorial-Brighton Rd. entrance @ Flagpole

8:45am VFW Monument in Elm Lawn Cemetery

9:00am Field of Honor in Elm Lawn Cemetery

9:15am Veteran’s Monument in Mt. Olivet (Elmwood Entrance)

9:20am Municipal Building

9:30am Monument in front of the Post-3354 Delaware Ave.

The Parade will start at 11:00am sharp. 

This year’s Grand Marshall will be Elmer Schamber 99 years young and a World War 2 Veteran.
