The Town of Tonawanda 3-on-3 Youth Basketball Tournament will take place Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Kenmore West High School. This tournament is run by the Town of Tonawanda Youth Board with support from the Town of Tonawanda Police Department. This free tournament is for students in grades 7-12 who live and/or attend school in the Town of Tonawanda or Village of Kenmore; there will be both boys and girls divisions.

“I played in this tournament as a kid, and my favorite part of it has always been that it brings both competitive and recreational basketball players together, with fans and volunteers from the community,” said Chris Monaco, one of the organizers.

“The last few years this tournament has had a great turnout, and it’s been a lot of fun. With the support of our sponsors and volunteers, we’re excited to do it again – but we need referees from the community to keep the day running smoothly,” said Dan Crangle, Councilman and Chairman of the Youth, Parks and Recreation Committee.

This event is free but pre-registration is required. Teams of 3-4 must register by February 22 at http://bit.ly/totbball19. We can only guarantee t-shirts & pizza to those who sign up before February 11. We will not allow walk-ins. Each player may only play on one team.

Volunteer referees are needed. Pizza & t-shirt provided. Sign up to help with this event at http://bit.ly/bballrefs.
