The primary responsibility of the Planning Bureau is the total fiscal management of the Police Department and ancillary bureaus under the command of the Chief of Police.
- Drafting of the annual line and capital improvements project budget
- Coordinating purchasing procedures and payments to all outside vendors
- Preparing and maintaining payroll and related records for all department employees, in coordination with the Records Bureau
